Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ANNEAL does with your personal information when you shop at https://annealshop.com. We have written it to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email address, delivery address, what you bought and what you paid.
• When you pay: your card details go directly to our payment processor. We receive only the result of the payment and the last digits of the card.
• When you write to us: your name, your email address and whatever is in your message.
• When you leave a review: the name you choose to publish and what you wrote.
• Automatically: the ordinary technical records any website keeps — your IP address and browser, in server logs used to keep the site up and to prevent fraud.

What we do not do

• We do not run advertising pixels, third-party analytics or any cross-site tracking on this store.
• We do not sell, rent or share your personal information, and we never have. For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, we do not sell or share personal information.
• We do not create an account for you. Checkout is guest-only, so there is no password of yours for us to lose.
• We do not send you marketing email. We only write to you about an order, and only if you contact us first.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We hold your order information because we need it to perform the contract you entered into when you bought something, and because tax and accounting law requires us to keep a record of a sale. We hold the technical records because we have a legitimate interest in a site that works and in preventing fraud.

Cookies and what is stored in your browser

This store sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your shopping cart is kept in your own browser's local storage so that it survives a refresh — it never leaves your device until you check out, and clearing your browser data clears it.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers, each of which processes data only on our instructions and only for the purpose listed:

• Whop — takes the payment and holds the card details we never see.
• Supabase — the database and file storage this store runs on.
• Vercel — the hosting and content delivery network that serves these pages.

We also disclose information where the law requires it, and to our accountants and professional advisers where necessary.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as the tax and accounting law we are subject to requires us to keep them. Messages you send us are kept while they are useful for support and then deleted. Server logs are short-lived.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also be able to object to our processing it, to ask us to restrict it, or to receive it in a portable form. We do not charge for any of this, and we answer within the month the law allows us.

To make a request, write to support@annealshop.com. If you are unhappy with our answer, you have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us theirs, tell us and we will delete it.
