The number is a position, not a grade
A higher number is not a better product. It is a hotter one — further along a range that runs from the formulas that ask something of the skin to the ones that give something back.
Read in order, the range is a routine. The hot end resurfaces and corrects, and is used sparingly, at night, on its own. The cool end hydrates, protects and cleanses, and is used daily. Most people need two products from the cool end before they need anything from the hot one.
How to read a bottle
The top line carries the house and the product's place in the range. It is the first thing printed and the smallest thing on the vessel.
What the formula is built around, at the concentration it is actually at — not a range, and not a claim about a proprietary blend.
One short line in the colour of that position. It is the same mark you see under the name on every page of this site.
